Espin. Over Signing Bowl. Rematch Jan. 9th. Satan Vs the Mad Hatter

Even if some people do tune in, I am not sure they will make it through the frenzied circlejerk that is ESPN's coverage of the SEC.

Right. Dana White and UFC would make MILLIONS on the night of the National Championship if they had a card.

I'm not boycotting the rematch. I just don't find it remotely intriguing. I have no interest in it. I've already seen it.

Frankly, looking over the entire bowl line up wasn't very intriguing. As much as I love the sport, the morons running it sure make it difficult to get excited about it, sometimes.

*raises hand*

The double standards are absolutely hilarious when it comes to the SEC. Okie State has a better strength of schedule AND more quality wins than Alabama yet they get screwed.

And ESPN needs to shut the [censored] up with this "eyeball test" [Mark May]. If we were using that criteria then the Buckeyes should of played (and beaten) Michigan again in the NCG in 2006. Florida looked like dog[Mark May] all year long until they played us.

The definition of "eyeball test" is I can't articulate any facts to support my position.

I was disappointed when I heard this. The first match up was completely boring, I see no reason why we should warrant a rematch. What does LSU prove if they beat Alabama? That the BCS system is in need of change. The only time I feel any team should possibly have a rematch is in a conference championship. It's one thing to have two teams rematch in a conference if no one else in their respective divisions stepped up to take the lead, it's another when you have two teams from the same conference meeting up again to decide the NC. It might as well be the Division Championship this year.

Yep. I would have been very intrigued to see OkSU's high-powered offense go against LSU's defense. I think that matchup would be a lot closer than the LSU-Oregon one from earlier this year, mainly because OkSU's defense at least has a pulse, unlike those "defenses" in the Pac-12. But with LSU-Bama in the NCG... no thanks. The only BCS bowl I might watch is the Rose Bowl, mainly for tradition reasons and to see if Bilema's team craps the bed on the national stage... again.
