I missed the entire first quarter of the game because Time Warner forgot to turn service to my box.

I was on hold for nearly an hour before I got through. Once I did though, the Fat Tire did the talking for me. :pissed:

I didn't make it to my local sports bar until the 1st was almost over. When I got there, they were having problems w/ the system and it wasn't on. fortunately, they got it on before my first beer made it to the table :)

I missed the last minute of the first half and the first 10 minutes of the third quarter. I have not ordered a package yet that COmcast hasn't flocked up to some extent.

I'm happy to report that Cox Cable in Vegas actually came on..on time and worked fine. Hopefully that will be a season-long trend.
The hilarious part is that when I called yesterday to find out which channel our game was on (on direct TV portion) the customer service lady did not know, and transfered me to a "customer care" person, who happened to be a squeaky voiced guy. I swear to Goodness that he took a full 15 minutes of poking his computer to finally find the game listing, and then insisted it was on (here) at Noon. No, said I, that is Eastern time, trust me. Well, he said, this shows our local time. At that point I just said thank you, and of course it came on here as scheduled. Made me wonder, though, what other kinds of confusion these nice folks innocently spread around.
Go Bucks! :)
