Williams pleads guilty to drug charge
Ex-Louisville LB can avoid jail time with good behavior

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP)-- Willie Williams, who was dismissed from the Louisville football team after being charged with marijuana possession, pleaded guilty Friday to the misdemeanor, his attorney said.
Other charges, including a felony offense of tampering with physical evidence for allegedly trying to eat the marijuana before police found it, were dismissed as part of a plea agreement, attorney Grant Helman said.

I say give him another chance.

There is this convention of blondes and this math professor says he has a method of teaching math that is so effective he can even teach a blonde. He selects a participant at random and says he will be back at the end of the convention.

So on the last day he appears on stage next to Bambi. He looks at her and asks "How much is 5 times 3?"

Bambi says "Eight."

"Sorry, that's wrong", says the professor. And the blondes in the audience chant "Give her another chance!"

"OK", says the professor, "How much is 9 divided by 3?"

"Twelve" says Bambi.

The professor says, "Sorry, that's wrong" and hangs his head.

But again the blondes in the audience chant "Give her another chance!"

So the professor says "How much is 2 plus 2?"

"Four" responds Bambi.

And before he can say a word the audience chants - "Give her another chance!"

So what the heck, give Willie another chance - even if he is dumber than Bambi.

Re: "Williams was arrested 11 times before beginning his college career at Miami. He left there after one season and played at West Los Angeles Community College before transferring to Louisville. Williams played three games for the Cardinals this season.
Helman said Williams is transferring to a junior college in Virginia or Georgia to finish the academic year and try to stay on track to graduate."

I find this hilarious. Lawyers will say anything to make their clients look like the second coming of Mother Teresa. I can't believe that he was ever on track to graduate in anything.

You are what you eat, and that's the straight dope.

Willie's legacy: the guy that made them tighten up the rules for visits.

si.com

Visitation rights
Stricter guidelines curb lavishness of official visits

Look what you did, Willie Williams. You inhaled steak and lobster. You flew on a private jet and rode in a Cadillac Escalade. You stayed in a room called the Paradise Suite. You partied on South Beach.

You also ruined the official visit for every star football recruit to follow.

Thanks partly to your mouth-watering recruiting diaries, published in The Miami Herald in January 2004 when you, a linebacker at Miami Carol City High and were the nation's most sought-after recruit, the NCAA cracked down on the rock-star treatment afforded most star football and men's basketball recruits. During your visit to Miami, you accompanied Hurricanes players to a club called B.E.D. Now, recruits visiting some schools must be in bed by 1 a.m.

Cont'd ...

I heard his character will be the lead in the sequal to "The Longest Yard", tentatively titled "The Biggest Moron"

Thank God there are smart athletes with common sense, or else looking only at idiots like Williams might make one think that there is a indirect proportion between athletic ability and intelligence.

Linebacker Willie Williams update?

His thread is locked; i'm just curious on the latest. Last I heard it looked like he was barely going to avoid jail time. Has any Juco picked hi up for next year or did he apply for the nfl draft?
