TARON VINCENT, BRIAN SNEAD AND KORY CURTIS LOSE THEIR BLACK STRIPES

Three more black stripes came off on Saturday as freshman defensive tackle Taron Vincent, freshman running back Brian Snead and sophomore walk-on quarterback Kory Curtis all earned the right to call themselves Buckeyes on Saturday, according to Ohio State's Instagram feed.

Three players officially became members in good standing of the Ohio State football program on Saturday.

Freshman defensive tackle Taron Vincent, freshman running back Brian Snead, and sophomore walk-on quarterback Kory Curtis all lost their black stripes during the Buckeyes’ practice.

Also Riep seems to be standing out at Safety. With his corner speed down the middle he very well may steal the spot

This seems like the year when the over all talent is just overwhelming. I believe statiscally that’s true in regards to rankings from HS. And it feels that way. You stop and think about the quality of players from true freshman through 5th year guys and it’s like layers upon layers of straight up studs. It’s unreal.
