Thump

Hating the environment since 1994
  • My wife and I were playing dominoes and checkers last night and I got to thinking what some of my favorite games/board games are.

    Chutes and Ladders
    Trivial Pursuit
    Connect Four
    Balderdash
Candy Land (When I was a kid)
    Hungry Hungry Hippoes
    Uno

Therapy. Most people haven't heard of it but it was awesome, especially if you were hanging out with people you didn't know well.

It was like a psychology trivial pursuit, but with the 6 categories being infancy, childhood, adolescence, etc. A question might be about who is more likely to have imaginary friends, etc.

The fun part, however, was the therapy. You would get stuck in another player's "therapy" and would get asked a question with the other person having to guess your response. If you connected you got out of therapy and kept going, otherwise you were stuck. Group therapy, where everyone confers to decide what you'll answer, was even more fun.

Questions like, "on a scale of 1-10 how sexually experimental are you?" or "who at the table would most like to rule the world?" etc. You really got to know what everyone thought of each other and details about each others' minds. . .

    I like:

    Chess
    Catchphrase
Carcassone (Though I've only played once)
    Clue

I like Cranium too. My wife and I have never lost a game when on the same team.

    Um, :lift: or something...

    Edited to add:
Ugh, can't believe I forgot Axis and Allies and Risk.
