From when you were a kid maybe.

When I was flipping burgers they were 15 cents.

My obit will include the two major accomplishments in my life.

1. I made the first Big Mac in Central Ohio.

2. I won a $1.00 bet by eating one in one bite.

I remember when they were 15¢; however, they came with mustard and ketchup, and I have never liked those on a hamburger, especially ketchup. I didn't start eating at McDonalds until the Big Mac came out.

In Lancaster Ohio there was a guy named Jimmy Mast that had a fast food hamburger restaurant named "Jimmy's" who had his signature sandwich the "Jawbreaker". It was on US route 22 (Lincoln Ave) which was close to where we lived. My family would get hamburgers there.

I think it was either Burger Chef or Red Barn that sold hamburgers, fries, and shakes for 15¢ each...mid/late '60s I think.
