That is absolutely gorgeous.

Been to the area twice in my life back in the 90s. We were lucky that on both trips the weather was like it is in your picture 90% of the time we were there.

Did you drive up to Paradise while you were there?

We did, but the view of the mountain is better the further away you get from it in my opinion.

Also went to Mt. Hood in Oregon and was amazed to see people skiing and snowboarding.

They have year round skiing.

First one is just the sunset over the Pacific Ocean, second is a formation from the Garden of the Gods, next is just a rest station on the way up Pikes Peak, last is from atop Pikes Peak looking west over the Continental Divide.
