Favorite piece of sports memorabilia

Got a few i love, pops always took me to media day.. coopers big ass signature ruins the balls :) but I have a few balls and they have plummer, winfield, boston, germain (i never could spell his damn name), katz.. damn theres more but thats all i know off the top of my head.. i'm gonna have to sit down and look at it tonight

my grandmother worked at national city and one day eddie george walked in and she got his autograph for me, have it framed next to his osu 'card'

going to cathlioc schools, dress down (out of uniform) days were the best.. every friday before The Game we would get to wear either OSU or scUM colors.. well pops went to get shirts for the family the night before at like 10, met archie griffin at the store, bought a ball and got his signature on it for me

one of my favorites, is the autograph I have of Troy Smith.. it's on the SI from this year after the scUM game.. reason being my Dad was a big Zwick fan and I was a big Troy fan back when nobody knew Troy, watching him blossom into who he became will be a memory i always credit to myself "i called it" haha

Grandpa was a broadcaster for the Bucks in the 1960's before they had contracts on who could air the games, he's got autographs of all kinds in his office behind me.. my favorite is a picture of Earl, Woody, and Bo all in suits. Dads got his Woody signature hanging up in his office.

Little brother got Teddy's and Pittman leaving the locker room after a game this past season, thats the place to be.

I've got footballs signed by Tressel, Cooper and Archie, a basketball signed by Matta, a framed pic signed by Jim Kelly (all personalized) -- but my most prized sports memorabilia are surely the tennis balls signed by Jennifer Capriati and Aranxta Sanchez-Vicario!

I'll bet that after getting your balls signed by J-Cap and ASV that you haven't washed them since. :tongue2:

never really cared about sports memorabilia at all. the only piece I have is a basketball signed by Scottie pippen that i got him to sign when i saw him in Laguna 12 years ago. I just happened to be playing basketball at the time, and had a ball with me.

All of my stuff is Detroit Red Wings memorabilia. I've got a few Steve Yzerman autographs, pictures, jerseys, retirement banner, etc. And at the last Detroit vs. Columbus game (in Columbus) I was lucky enough to have Chris Chelios throw me a puck before the game.
: puke :

i coached a 3rd grade team of boys basketball in college. at the end of the season they signed a basketball and gave it to me at the end of the year. thats my fav piece of memorabilia.
