anyone own some cool autographs or other stuff like that in your house? For me, i have a mini football signed by Tressel and Maurice Clarett that i got when i was at the 2002 championship game

I have a photo of Lou Groza signed once in 1954 when my dad met him on business and again in 1991 or so when he did a stag at Moeller high school.

A Woody autograph from a speech at he Masonic Temple in Dayton. A Rex Kern photo signed... sent to me when Rex read the story about being in a bunker in Vietnam and listening to the 68 Rose Bowl in the OSU Alumni Mag. Also one from Wilmer "Vinegar Bend" Mizell pitcher for the Cards in the 50s. Met him when we wwere both doing some work on behalf of WWII vets. He was amazed I knew who he was. Great guy.

Pennants from the St. Louis Browns, Washington Senators and the Philadelphia Athletics, Michigan State COLLEGE, and the 54 All Star Game....

But my favorite is a cast iron baseball scene, can of Blatz Beer sliding into home, catcher, a bottle of Blatz Beer taking a late throw and the umpire, a keg of Blatz calling the runner safe. Picked it up when Blatz stopped sponsoring the evening news on the TV station I worked for at the time. I think about 1965.

A Babe Ruth jersey set a new record this week by selling for $5.64 million at auction—the largest sum ever paid for a piece of sports memorabilia.

According to Hunt Auctions (h/t ESPN.com), the jersey dated back to between 1928 and 1930 and broke the previous record of $4.4 million set by a 1920 Ruth jersey.
