Favorite Play-by-Play Announcer?

Gotta go with Marty and Joe as a team. I am not sold on the new guy yet. I believe his name is Steve Stewart, but those two were the best ever.

For college football I like Herbie, Musberger, Speils.

For college bball I like Kellog and Johnson as a team.

For NFL I like the Aikman and Buck team.

The guys I cannot stand are first and foremost are Bill Walton and Dan Fouts.

As for the guys saying they don't like Dickie V, even know he is a homer at times and shows his colors for the ACC, you have to love his enthusiasm.

I totally forgot about Buck. He's definitely at the top of my list. That Slam-a-Lam-a-Ding-Dong commercial is absolutely hysterical.

Ron Franklin, Jim Nantz, and Joel Myers. Most of the guys people are listing are color guys, not play-by-play. I also like Cliff Drysdale when he does tennis. I love all the old-school baseball radio guys (like Harwell and Scully) also.

Marty used to be way up there, but he's begun to irritate me over the last couple years. When he brings in a guest, the two of them just gab like a couple of school girls while the listeners wonder what's going on in the game.

The Bengals radio guys are nimrods.
