Also, Lavin is a fucking douche. A total idiot.

He doesn't know when to shut the fuck up, someone will make a great defensive play and here goes Lavin: "Wow, great play! Like, a safety defending a hail mary, getting back there and knocking it down. You know, like a catcher stopping a wild pitch in the world series, even though its cold out and the ball is hard to grip and the crowd is going wild..."

And meanwhile three to four possessions have taken place.

I thought Summerall should have retired years ahead of when he did. He was a babbling idiot in the end. As for Madden, his schtick got old in a hurry for me. Only so many boom, bams, etc... that are funny...sort of like tempo and in space.....

I used to hate Dick Vitale... a few months ago I got the chance to sit down in an interview with him (I wasn't the interviewer but the producer). I'm not crazy about his schtick but the guy does a lot for charity and if you can hear him when he's "off the mic" then you might realize that he's actually a real decent guy. I think his personality has taken on a life of its own and most time he comes off like an ass but he's the one that's created it.
