Favorite Sports Logos from the 80's

There is ONE person I'd like to see take over for Selig when he quits/gets fired. George W. Bush. I'd doubt he'll do it, there's virtually no chance of it actually happening, but if it won't be W, then Nolan Ryan. Someone who will tell the MLBPA whats' up and tell the owners to blow it out of their collective asses and have the prestige in baseball circles to make it stick.

The way pre Redhawks Miami grads feel is how I feel about the Redskins I went there 2001-2005. Not a redskin. That being said it was one of the classier American Indian based logos.

Bad logos?

All of the Columbus logos have been pretty cool. Used to like the old Chill logo too.

The Quest was bad ass.

I think most of the minor league logos are pretty good, however I feel there are som out there who are better than both of these.

Lake Eisnore Storm, for example. Simple yet powerful.

I met Buck O'Neil when I visited the Negro League Baseball Museum (he founded it). Very nice, humble guy who did a lot for the Kansas City area and preserving the history of the Negro League. Sadly, the Museum is in danger of closing due to finances and he's no longer around to help save it.
