The game I went to Johnson looked smooth at RB/FB, he caught a few swing passes/screens....IMO he will redshirt and surface again in a few years when he's bigger....

Nutty-
The Princeton "target" is nice, it's when it is that pee color that makes it so darn ugly.

scUM screwed things up for Princeton and any other school that chose that particular design on their helmet long ago. Few things make me sick immediately after I see it like those helmets do. :scum3:

Dionte Johnson's comments...WOW

From the O-Zone....
"My goal was just to knock somebody over, set some heads back, make people lay back on their toes and think about when they're coming up," said Johnson
"I love throwing my body around. As much pain as it's causing me, he's (the person he is blocking) is feeling it twice. I know that because I played linebacker in highs school," Johnson said.[QUOTE

That's the kind of fire we need. I hope the upperclassmen take notice. He was destroying people out there. Branden Joe had better step up or he's out.

Yes how did he do in the game? moving from the bottom to Second string is AWESOME In my mind.... I hear he got some carriest and did well with them too! I'm very excited about this kid! I love the attitude too.

I played Fullback in High School and he's definatly right about it hurting but the sting doesn't last long because it does hurt when you're on defense alot more

Not taking anything away from Johnson, but I think part of his rise is due to injury. But, again, Johnson could be a great great FB and I sincerely hope he makes people forget Pete Johnson.
I'll agree Joe's injury is a big point...but Schnittker has been putrid. White just doesn't have "it"

If Dionte is a headhunter and gets stronger, he will be a big addition

I think I read that White, Jr had some injury issues also. I really like Dionte and think we need to get away from the recruiting of RB to play FB. I like the Jamar Martin types but we have recruited Joe, Schnitker, and White and they are not getting it done in the blocking or pass receiving aspect...
