Ohio State has 'offered' this athlete out of Jacksonville Trinity Christian. I guess with kids this young it's more like just letting them know the offer will be there when it's time. Anyhow, he comes highly recommended by Randy Wade (Shaun's dad).

BUCKEYES OFFER GEORGIA COMMIT
Ohio State’s 2023 offer spree continued on Saturday, as the Buckeyes extended an offer to rising sophomore Treyaun Webb, who has been committed to Georgia since November.

Webb is a 6-foot, 190-pound running back/defensive back prospect, though we’re not sure yet which position the Buckeyes like him at right now. Of course, it’s so early in the process that whatever position they like him at today could change as his body develops over the next couple years.

Webb hails from Trinity Christian Academy (Fla.), the same place that housed recent Buckeye signees Shaun Wade, Marcus Crowley and Tyreke Johnson.

Interestingly enough, Webb is currently committed to Georgia, and has been since November of 2019. But with three full years left of high school, it’s clear he’s going to still entertain others before really shutting it down. Ohio State just came into play recently, offering Webb this past Saturday, so they will have a bunch of work to do try and steal him from the Bulldogs.

As mentioned, the Buckeyes have done more than enough to have a solid footprint at Webb’s high school, and with Randy Wade helping in this recruitment as the father of a current Buckeye star, it definitely doesn’t hurt. In fact, Randy himself seems to feel pretty decent about Ohio State’s chances at yet another Trinity Christian native. There’s more than enough time to really become a player for Webb, but it’s important for Ohio State’s staff to continue leaning on one of their best recruiting pitches — their ability to develop for the NFL, especially at the cornerback position.
