That seems like a positive update.

Ohio State and Florida tied at the top for Lewis

A couple of weeks ago, Ohio State hosted Washington (DC) Gonzaga defensive back Marcus Lewis on an unofficial visit, which went very well.

The visit went so well that he named the Buckeyes his leader shortly after completing the visit. In the last week or so, Florida has pulled even with the Bucks. Lewis added Michigan State, Clemson, and Miami were "coming into play" as well.

Ohio State is in a good spot early, but it's going to be a battle until the end for his commitment.

He's at least the 3rd kid to decommit from UF this month. Is this coincidence, or are they jumping ship for some reason? I'm really only curious b/c of Jerome Baker.

Winning the summer recruiting title means nothing...like @WolverineMike said in the Chambers thread they will have to win games to hold onto these kids. I think Michigan will be better than most do this upcoming season, provided there are no early stumbles against Miami (OH), Utah or...God-forbid App State. I am guessing they will be dogs at ND, at MSU and at OSU but their defense should have them in every other game. It will be interesting to see how many of these verbals sticks coupled with the [as yet unfounded] rumors that there is some tension in the current locker room if there are more losses. Discussion for another thread obviously.

If you read Jerome's thread, you'd be fine with him at UF
But I'd definitely want Marcus in this class. Kid would be a baller in our defense under Ash
