Ohio State Makes Cut for 4-Star Florida Offensive Tackle John Campbell

With Ohio State recruiting Florida as hard as they do, it did not come as a surprise on Thursday when the Buckeyes made the cut for 4-star offensive lineman John Campbell out of Orlando.

Campbell, who plays for Dr. Phillips High School, cut his list down to eight schools. Joining Ohio State are Alabama, Auburn, Florida, LSU, Miami, USC, and UCLA.

Campbell (6-5 290) is rated the No. 10 offensive tackle in the 2018 class per Rivals. His offer list is very impressive, as shown by his Top 8, and he also holds offers from Georgia, Tennessee, Oregon, and many others. Interestingly, he seems somewhat under the radar based on his status as a 3-star prospect on the 247Sports Composite, where he is ranked the No. 35 offensive tackle in the nation.
