Based on the height my first thought was scat back, but based on the weight and video he looks more like a Maurice Jones-Drew bowling ball type back with great balance and vision but lacking elite speed.

Lane interested in Palmetto State football
By Eric Guimaraes

Junior RB Adam Lane (5-8 200) of Winter Haven, FL sat out his junior campaign with a broken bone in his leg but that has not deterred the offers. The Florida product has received offers from USC, Florida, Ohio State, Alabama, South Florida and Rutgers with interest coming from Clemson, Oregon, Louisville and Kansas. He is showing interest in Clemson and USC. "I've always liked South Carolina," Lane said. "I think their running game fits my style well. Clemson is another school I like. They're not afraid to put their best players on the field and Tony Elliot has been on me hard." Lane has not visited either school but plans to make trips to both campuses. Thus far, he has been to Florida, Alabama, Rutgers and South Florida. "They're all good programs that put a lot of emphasis on running the ball," he said. He does not have any favorites

That is quite a difference in height and weight from the first post...40lbs (205 v 163)???

I saw this too, but then I saw on Rivals that he was 5'7" 218... I don't know what to believe, but he is a thick, strong kid, so I'm thinking the 163 was a typo. I wonder if Urban sees him more of a Brandon James speciail teams-utility guy, or a Rainey-Demps speed-scat back?

We know that, but it still could have been a typo. The guy in that picture looks nowhere near 163....unless he is 5 2.

Exacty. We know he was measured there, and maybe he IS the 163, but I have a few weights listed and the 163, judging by the photo, just seems way low and I figure it to be a typo... as Frohlich said.
