FL RB Daniel Carter (Pitt Verbal)

Carter is hesitant to label one school as the clear front-runner, but has significant interest in a Big Ten school that is awfully successful when it comes to prying talent out of St. Thomas Aquinas.

"I don't really have a top school right now, but I'm really interested in Ohio State," Carter said. "Ohio State has a winning tradition, so I would love to be a part of that.

"I love that coach Urban Meyer came in and turned the program around, and Ohio State produces great running backs and put people in the league."

One of the prospects that everyone has been talking about since he made his varsity debut as a sophomore and started to turn heads. Once you watch him play, you know immediately that this is a tremendous running back – who has speed, vision and the ability to make big plays. Carter will grab the spotlight this season – as he patiently has waited behind some very impressive football talent the past two years. He has learned not only how to run the ball from the line of scrimmage, but he will block and come out of the backfield to catch balls when needed. Carter is the complete back who has already started to grab the attention in the spring. With the competitive games the Raiders have this season, he will jump into the national spotlight. He is indeed that talented.

Smaller guy, but my goodness is he slippery and hard to bring down. Fantastic balance to boot; it's been a while since I've seen someone that plays with the balance that he has... he gets rocked, gets his feet back underneath him, and keeps going. Great vision, breaks tackles, decent straight arm, and you know this kid is a competitor by how he fights for every yard. The 2019 class's unique version of Master Teague
