Olympia RB Dexter Williams now has Ohio State among list of early suitors

From an Orlando Sentinel article:

"His showing at Saturday's SPARQ combine appears to have been what sparked the college interest. He was the top performer overall with a SPARQ score of 117.03, and he posted a 40-yard dash time of 4.54 seconds, a 5-10-5-yard shuttle time of 4.08 seconds, and had a vertical leap of 40 inches and a power ball toss of 35 feet despite cold, rainy conditions."

From what I heard, the 40 time was laser timed and the article states it was raining and cold.

Dexter Williams posts top SPARQ score, earns invite to The Opening
West Orange RB now lists top 5 schools as Florida, Georgia, Miami, Ohio State, Southern Cal

Wow, an Orlando Sentinel article that did not disparage our coach. Very puzzling.

Williams has also blown up on the recruiting scene. He has nine offers and all are from major football powers and all have come in the past month. He released a top three in February and it did not include Florida, but Saturday he said his top five are the Gators, Miami, Georgia, Ohio State and Southern Cal.

"Well ... it's just a family thing, it's a Gator thing. That's all I hear every day. My dad will be in the background talking about, 'Gator, Gator, Gator,' " Williams said. "I have a lot of love for Florida, and plus, that's where I'm from, Florida, and I do want to hold it down for my state."
