BN $ - Meyer, Johnson, practice leave major impression on elite DE Thomas

Xavier was really impressed by how the coaches treated him & his family like they were one of their own. The speed & intensity of spring practice stood out as well as the hunger to improve by the players. Coach Johnson gave him some guidance on how to become a better player/man & Coach Meyer stressed all that tOSU has offer him on/off the field. Plans on returning for camp this summer.

Notice that theme in every recruits thread? Gotta love it. Meanwhile, scUM will treat kids to some spare ribs and a picnic for their big event.

Truly a common theme in virtually all of the articles I've read on recruits reactions to visiting tOSU. They also mention the intensity of the coaches driving the players as well. A few have gone so far as to compare it to other schools they've visited & they all say Ohio State stands out as going at it the hardest.

BG $ - Elite 2018 Thomas impressed with Ohio State visit

Xavier says he had heard good things about tOSU, but was even more impressed seeing everything up close himself. He was excited to meet Coach Meyer & likes his down-to-earth, forward approach. Looking for a school with a good engineering program & the best defensive line/overall coaching staff. Isn't afraid to leave home for college & plans on returning to Columbus in the summer.

BN $ - Country's No. 4 prospect says Ohio State visit No. 1

Xavier said his visit to tOSU was the best he's yet taken & his mom also said it was her favorite visit as well. Doesn't have a list of top schools right now, but Ohio State would be right up there. On top of planning to return for camp in June, he is also hoping to make it to The Game in November. Doesn't anticipate making a decision until his senior year.
