BRANDON INNISS
Speaking of those to keep an eye on, the nation’s No. 1 receiver and No. 7 overall player certainly hits that mark as well.

Inniss is a 5-foot-11, 180-pound receiver who is ranked No. 2 in the state of Florida out of TRU Prep Academy (Miami Gardens) and who we will be talking about for the next several months in the same vein as a trio of recent Ohio State receiver signees and commits.

“Coach Hartline is a great guy,” Inniss started. “We have a good connection already. He’s been telling me that I’m his guy since day one and we have a great connection. I’ve been talking to him on the phone and I talk to coach (Keenan Bailey) a lot too.”

Ohio State’s recruiting philosophy recently has been to find guys who can play multiple receiver spots. Garrett Wilson, Emeka Egbuka, and Caleb Burton all fit into that mold and Inniss is that type of player as well. His versatility extends beyond just the different receiver positions, however.

“I really like playing all of the positions on the field,” Inniss explained. “One thing people don’t know is I still play punter, too. I just love playing the game. I’ve been recruited for safety as well. It’s a fun thing to do, exploring all of your options, but I’ll probably be playing receiver (at the next level).”

Just sayin': Ohio State can always use another 5 star WR, and he punts too.....
