Game Thread Florida A&M Rattlers at tOSU, Sep 21, 12 ET, BTN

Glad Braxton Miller didn't play today. There was nothing to be gained. If there'a rust, he has a better chance of losing it in practice than against a low quality opponent like this one that offers zero resistance and will let you off the hook for every mistake you make.

Scheduling games like this one is a disservice to the team and what they're trying to accomplish on the field. They very well could have taken a step backward today and we'd never know it.

Really? I thought we originally schedule Vanderbilt.

Either way, great experience for key backups to get their feet wet. The experience is invaluable for guys like Elliott, Ball, Trey Johnson, Jamal Marcus and others.

And above all, no key injuries and Braxton/Washington got a chance to heal up for next week.

Or it could be just what they needed at this time. Get guys healthy for B1G and get some backups some game reps.

I'm happy the young pups get to fly around in front of 105,000.

The people that get screwed in this one are the fans and alumni that scratch and claw for tickets at face value and when they do finally wind up getting a ticket, it's for an opponent like this.
