Game Thread Florida A&M Rattlers at tOSU, Sep 21, 12 ET, BTN

76 points is tied for sixth most all-time by an Ohio State team. The school record is 128 points against Oberlin on October 14, 1916.

This marks the most points scored by the Buckeyes since they beat Iowa 83-21 on October 28, 1950.

This is the biggest shutout since Ohio State beat Western Reserve 76-0 on November 3, 1934.

That being said, I hope that we never see another game like this - boring for the fans, not beneficial for the team.

No thanks. I'm glad we did what we should have done but this isn't as beneficial as playing Vandy.

We schedule something because we had to, but this wasn't a good deal.

This game has nothing to do with the Vandy game, though.

This game is par for the course in big time college football, especially in the SEC. Look at the schedule, this was supposed to be a "recovery" game after a big (except Cal isn't as good as we'd originally hoped) game that allows the team to get healthy and get some time for backups before B1G play. But the perception is a lot worse since Cal sucked. The crying and complaints would be few and far between if this game was sandwiched in between UNC & Oklahoma in 2015. This was a good scheduling move, IMO.
