Ohio State honors daughter of Ohio sportscaster with helmet decal

Ohio State will take the field Saturday against Florida A&M as a considerable favorite. Those watching the game will probably notice a new memorial sticker on the back of the football helmet with the initials “MT.” Ohio State’s football team will be paying tribute to the daughter of longtime Ohio sportscaster, Maria Tiberi. Tiberi, an Ohio State student, was killed in a car accident earlier in the week.
According to a report by the Columbus Dispatch, Tiberi was driving south on I-270 and struck a tractor-trailer that had stopped in traffic. Tiberi was taken to Grant Medical Center in Columbus, where she was pronounced dead.
She is the daughter of Dom Tiberi, an award-winning sports anchor for 10 TV who has covered Buckeyes football dating back to the 1980s.

A "Be on Television? Not!" game (for me) against a school Ohio State has no business playing. Hopefully, no one gets injured in this exhibition.

Looking forward to conference play next week. :booyah:

This game is ultra-stressful. Not a yawner.

If tOSU does not win by 50, then the hecklers and pollsters start whining and send tOSU dropping percipitously down in the rankings.

I will be sweating and whining about every play to that does not result in a touchdown. I will whince if FAMU gets a positive yardage on any play.

Gone are the nostalgic day of Tressel ball, where the preferred margin of victory was one point. No Vegas greenshade would ever give anywhere close this kind of margin on a JT led game.

Kinda sucks that the best thing that can happen is that we would be able to refer to this game as our "Nicholls State".

This weekend is the weekend where I can't watch the game. Wifey had plans already. I would have put my foot down but this game will not be interesting so. I will watch it later. Will be raining, so this will not help beating the spread.
