And all during that game the same BS narrative was spouted, "Taggart is an offensive genius and technician when it comes to X's and O's". I was laughing my ass off. Have bet against them all year and it has been profitable. They are a joke. Taggart's mismanagement of the clock at the end of the half was beyond embarrassing. It is a total shit show.

Florida State fans take to GoFundMe to try buying out Willie Taggart

gettyimages-1033690798.jpg

It’s safe to say the Willie Taggart era at Florida State has not gotten off to a great start. A record of 1-2 with the two losses coming in landslide results for ACC opponents and managing to squeak by Samford at home has led to plenty of scrutiny and criticism for the new head coach in Tallahassee. Despite the dismal start, Florida State is not going to be cutting Taggart and his staff loose any time too soon, as the buyout money needed alone is enough to allow things to smooth over with the program.

But that won’t start a handful of Florida State fans from trying to raise the buyout money themselves. And what better way to try doing that than by taking to online crowdfunding on sites like GoFundMe. So, in the early going of these various crowdfunding efforts surfacing online recently, how much progress has been made toward the $21 million needed?

FSU fan post stating Willie Taggart should be lynched prompts outrage, review by state attorney

Florida State fan posted images on social media depicting coach Willie Taggart getting lynched, prompting outrage Sunday morning.

Florida State president John Thrasher released a statement Sunday stating the post was unacceptable and indicated an investigation is being conducted by the state attorney.

“A recent racist social media post aimed at our football coach is ignorant and despicable,” Thrasher said in the statement. “I speak for the entire FSU community in expressing our disgust and extreme disappointment, and I am glad the state attorney is investigating. Coach Taggart has our full support and as true Seminoles know, he is a respected member of the FSU family.”

Emotions ran high Saturday night among Florida State fans after a season-ending loss to rival Florida. As many took to social media to express their disappointment with the season, one post was immediately rebuked by fans of both Florida State and other college football programs who saw it circulated online.

Under a post made in the Facebook group Florida State Football, a meme depicting Willie Taggart being lynched with the words, “Believe in something. Even if it means sacrificing your rep,” was posted in a thread of comments. The account user was listed as Tom Shand.

I won't post the photo over here, but damn, it's shameful.
