That's a lacrosse score. If baseball had as much scoring as lacrosse _and_ they were able to hit each other with their sticks, I might be convinced to watch more than three innings in a year.

Sorry for the rough couple of weeks.

My comments are tongue in cheek about the baseball thing. It’s not my bag, and frankly neither is basketball... that said, I know that I’m in a severe minority having those feelings.

Hope things turn around for ya.

But you do have to admit that baseball would be a lot more fun if they got to hit each other with bats. Imagine a game where the hitter kept his bat and was able to use it while he ran the bases. Am I right?

There was a time in my life when January 2nd till the middle of September was filled with Lucas and Havlicek, the NCAAs, opening day, the Indy 500, the Derby/Preakness/Belmont, and the Reds. That’s almost gone. There’s Buckeye season and the NFL playoffs and a dead zone.

Well, the Noles were ranked #6 and we were at #7 before the game, but there is no time in history not worth giving a shit about beating #11* and the Noles... since the late 60s anyway. Before that, I cannot say.

*Before the game we presented Mike Martin with a customized golf bag and a cruise trip for Martin and his wife as a sign of - I dunno - being sorry for kicking his ancient ass again??
