That was some of the worst weather I've experienced at an Ohio State football. I'd say it was worse than the Purdue game at the 'Shoe in '03, worse than Iowa City in '04, and even worse than the ice cold sub-zero battle in '97 in Ann Arbor. Some guy on TheOzone said that he hasn't seen weather that bad at The Shoe since 1993 against Penn State. I'd personally have to agree.

I should hope the Buckeyes won't have to face that weather again this year, but at least if they do, they know what game plan to use (heavy dose of Pittman, Haw, and Schnittker). 10 pass attempts might be too many in that weather.

Hell.. I was standing in the shoe from 11:30 till the end of the game.. it wasn't bad with gloves, a hoody and poncho.
Thats it? lol, I came thinking I would be fine in a hoodie, a tee, a beanie and jeans/boots. We got there around 10:30 and said screw it, went to Conrads accross the street picked up a hoodie & sweats for underneath what I had on, some O-St. gloves, a poncho and another pair of socks. I stood outside the gates at 11, by half I was freezing, wet and ready to leave. No way were me and my friend going to give up 50 yard line, front row seats (21AA, first seat on the right) - especially after getting an autograph and pic with Alex Boone, and Ginn Sr. (nice guys!), and mutual small talk with Nate Salley, Downing, Welch, Carpenter.

All and all now that I look back - Those 5hours were well worth it!
