theres 1 thing that pisses me off about the perception of tressel ball. tressels offense will do more than enough to win ball games if he has the personnel to run his offense. his star running back who should still be there.....isnt. its not his fault clarett left us all high and dry. we took care of teams easily when we had all our parts. remember texas tech?

bottom line.....the luckeyes moniker drops once we get a stud RB to work tressels O. i think we have one on the bench....but i dont think he will get PT untill later in the season.

Personally I just love it. I get to see it everyday down here live and in color and make no mistake about it, the way we win just burns these people up inside. They get honest to god PO'd and I have to keep my laughing to a minimum to keep it from getting ugly quite often.

What it does is shake their beliefs in what they "know" about football. OSU's style just doesn't fit a sport thats always been about blowouts and how you look when you win. Tressel has brought the pure focus on the "W" from a playoff 1AA mind set.

In the future as parody continues to sink in and the old ways of judging/ranking simply don't apply anymore Tressel will be seen as the first to do it successfully at the big time 1A level. The big advantage for us currently is that we have adapted and play this way now, no one else does.

A couple more years of the mid majors knocking off BCS schools and people are going to start realizing its all about the W, not a flashy offense. Slowly but surely even the sub human lot known as sportswriters will figure this one out.
