My trees and everything outside look like this.

I'll try to post some pictures of my yard later. We lost half the branches in all of our trees last night. Every tree looks like a weeping willow right now from the weight of the ice. About a half inch ice coating on EVERYTHING!!

We got woken up at about 4 AM by a huge crashing noise outside. We were then awoken again by the sound of a chainsaw at 7:30AM. The power company was cutting one of our huge limbs in pieces that had fallen into the middle of the road in front of our house.

I can't believe this system bypassed Pittsburgh

Count your Hindu Blessings Tibs... Nasty shit out here.... Guess its worse NW of C-Bus too... I've got about 8 or 9 inches on the ground with an inch or so of ice on top of that...

My neighbor's power line (The one that goes to her house from the pole) is down in my back yard... I have power but theirs about 40 square blocks north of me who don't... starting on the other side of my street...

Transformers are crackling all over... but other than that its quite peaceful... in an eerie kind of way.

We only have about 1-2 inches here. But Columbus has about 4-6 and Springfield has 17 inches.

I'm getting ready to go out and survey the damage, I'll try to post some pics soon.

I would just like to take this time to remind everyone that it is currently 61 degrees (5:20pm) here. Tonight's low is 45 degrees. Uh oh, looks like we have a 40% chance of rain next Monday. Shucks.

Don't give me your red chiclets. You can probably use them for heat or something.

I can vouch for 17" in Springtucky. Here in Huber, it's about the same. Clark County no longer has "Snow Emergency Levels" Apparently, telling people its too unsafe to be on the roads is considered bad for commerce.

I-70 is a complete clusterfuck. It took me 3 hours to get home from work (Springfield to Huber). I almost ran out of gas just sitting in traffic on the highway. Fortunately, I was able to pass the time by playing Tecmo Bowl on my cellphone.
