Wow, guys, just wow. Two feet? Dayum!

I am sweltering here in over 80F heat and can't get to sleep, so send some our way! Hope they cancel work tomorrow but suspect it will all be fine by then.

I still remember these kinds of days from my Ohio childhood. Can still smell the snow and feel the cold. Remember when your pants got cold playing football in the snow and they would get wet and freeze?

Kids? They can't believe their luck!

My first experience with real snow was in Columbus my first year of grad school. I was supposed to go to an 8:00 lecture, but only made it as far as the McDonalds on High Street. I distinctly remember sitting there watching it come down and thinking "Damn, I knew I should've picked Texas". That would've been a tragic strategic error, of course.

Don't you want to go out and punch that snow drift in the "nose"? Man, that's a lot of snow. Kids will be making snow forts for a long time.
Already melting fast (lots of grass showing here), if the sun/temp doesn't do it, the rain on thursday will.

let me preface my post with this: :tibor:

but...

It's 2:12 on Tuesday, and the city just now decided to come and plow the streets in my neighborhood (which has a steep exit).

This being after 3/4 of the snow has melted. Great response time.

But if you ask the city, they are right on schedule :)

Hang on, help is on the way! Spring officially starts next Friday, guys!

We had our first wintry day yesterday, well for about four hours of it. Rain. Dropped down into the low 60s. Over 80 and sunny again today, but the flag has been nailed to the mast. The sun will cross the equator next Friday and it is yours again.

Your spring is on the way.
