Fred Davis (official thread)

Davis is one of those rare instances where I do not wish great things on him initially. He has a lot to learn, and he burnt a lot of bridges with his arrogance during the whole recruiting process. I hope that he does well down the road, but would love to see him get served a slice of humble pie this year.

I guess he won't be beating Williams' freshman record this year, perhaps he makes a good left tackle on punt coverage.

I say Fuck em'....I hope he gets demolished on the line and put on his ass...He is a classless punk and deserves everything he gets. Have fun blocking and hey Fred, Check out how many passes TE's at SC caught last year.

Why is he classless....because he didn't go to OSU....I'm pretty sure everyone ate up everything COach Rios said about him when he was being recruited; Great kid ect....It's pretty sad that you hate a kid that much because of what school he's going to....It's only fuckng college football and these are 18 year old kids; get a grip man....Fred won't be a te during running plays ect; 100%...He'll be in during passing plays...Pretty hard to defend a set of Smith and Jarrett on one side, Bush and maybe Wiliams on the other, with Davis at TE and White at RB....

Anyways, lighten up...Ginn was a recruit we both went after and I hope he does well. I'm not going to hate some 18 year old kid for not going to SC...

The manner inwhich it occured, plus the fact that he was enrolled into school 2 weeks after classes started. Personally i dont care, and ws you are so right, i would not want to cover that set, it reminds of the greatest college football team of all time the 02 miami hurricanes, and look what they did to us.

I honestly hope Fred Davis never sees the field of play. I hope he only sees the classroom and gets good grades. The things he said about Ohio State upset me, and make me bitter - sorry, I can't wish him luck on the field after what he said.

Have fun blocking Fred "Fucking" Davis!

ME, ME, ME, ME, ME, ME, ME, ME, ME.

The greatest thing about football according to Fred Davis.

God, I hope we get them in a Bowl game and someone keeps these comments around to post them in the locker room. I'd be more than happy to take a 15 yard penalty to see Davis laying on the field in agony.
I'm sick and tired of atheletes like this.

stripes, help me out here. so he goes in on passing plays only, and basically just to run a route. Why even call him a tight end? he's just an extra receiver that happens to be bigger than average. if you can't use him on run plays, obviously his blocking isn't all that great. why even call him a tight end? what you described is not a tight end, it's a 4th receiver.

by the way, with 3 receivers, two backs, and a tight end... are you going with the 4-man front in that formation?
