Free Safari in Zanesville

3074326

Assistant to the Head Coach
Lions, tigers, cheetahs, bears all running wild in Zanesville, Ohio. The owner was found dead.

The guy was Terry Thompson.. knew him. A different kind of fellow.. one baby tiger he had actually charged at me. As far as I know they weren't exactly tame...

Maybe they're trying to get to the Wilds with their other non-native animal buddies.

The local authorities are doing their best to prevent this. They've killed approximately 25 animals.

"Different", he was a wacko!

I know him as well. I'm shocked he didn't kill anyone else.

This guy has a wrap sheet a mile long I'm sure.

When a friend called and told me animals were lose, I obviously knew who the subject was. Then they said he was dead. My immediate thought was that someone killed him - and I wasn't surprised at all, sadly.

But yeah... I've heard he's been involved with all kinds of shit. He just got out of jail for a guns charge (or charges) if I'm not mistaken.

This is getting huge quick.. the New York Times, msnbc.com, ABC and CNN have all picked up this story.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised that this dude did something to get national media attention.

Just saw Jack Hanna on the news and he said that the rumor is the guy opened all the cages and then took his life.

According to Jack they have no way to know for sure right now what animals are free and what they are dealing with.
