Future Football Schedules (Updated 11/21/2023)

The OOC sched looked weak until Cinci's strong season this year, I think. And the B1G schedule now looks very competitive with Nebraska and Maryland on the upswing and @Northwestern, Wiscy, @scUM...

2019 It's a VERY tough looking schedule right now but we know some of those teams won't live up to any hype. How the hell could we get Ped State and TTUN back to back? "That's not right!"

Yea my first thoughts were it was easy... but not anymore.

Nebraska/Sparty/Wisconsin/PED/scUM/NW is a very tough go. Luckily Sparty/Wisconsin are on a big decline program wise and NW/PED may or may not be good.

NW loses quite a bit. Thorson, Top WR, 3 starting Olinemen, 5 starters on D. Doubt they'll replicate this season.

Ped State I think declines a bit losing McSorely. Stevens can run but its a downgrade throwing the ball. (And McSorely was not too great tossing it this year)

More evidence that the conference doesn't give a shit about getting league members into the playoff. The SEC has perfected the art of scheduling to protect their cash cows while the B1G continues to do the complete fucking opposite and make life as difficult as possible because the suits in Chicago want to wipe their ass with TV money.

Let's have Ohio State and Nebraska play each other 8 times in 11 seasons -- more than any other cross-division meeting post expansion that isn't a rivalry game, and twice as many meetings for Ohio State relative to any other possible West division opponent.

Schedule Penn St the week before @Michigan in both 2019 and 2021? Sure.

How about @Michigan St and @Penn St in back-to-back weeks for 2020? Awesome!

Play Northwestern on the road on a Friday night? Yup! Why the fuck not?

Northworstern wanted to be a prime time matchup and the only way to do that was get Ohio State at their place and switch it to a Friday.

If there is a home game that night at my local High School, I'll be at the local High School. It won't change anything.

Also playing Wisconsin 4 straight years from 2022 thru 2025.

The current AD has not convinced Delany to make things fair for the Buckeyes, let alone try to allow the conference scheduling to make it less difficult for the top program to make the playoff.
