It's well documented. The issue was Bryon Scott and the showtime laker greats badmouthing him to their buddy magic all the time. Thus when Magic got the gig he proceeded to trash him the whole time then trade him.

Thanks for sharing. I was not aware that it was the former Lakers that had a harder time with him and the video, and that he was making amends with his actual teammates.

I thought the Nets were dumb to give him up for Kyrie as Kirie reminds me of T.O. at this point great player, not a leader and a bit of a malcontent but if they get K.D it's understandable. This is an amazing deal for Russel where he can learn from Steph and not be the primary ball handler on a team with no shooters like he was in LA.

Reports this morning are that the Warriors traded for Russell in order to flip him for other players. Apparently the Warriors' salary cap limits are restricting their ability to rebuild their roster and they have to get creative to do it.

I'm not sure I agree with them at least not right away. He's likely gonna be Klay's replacement till hes back. After that all bets are off and I could see him being moved

We will see. Klay and D-Lo are very different players. Klay is an elite defender and also elite at catch and shoot. D-Lo is smaller, a weaker defender and more of an on-ball player offensively - he is like a poor man's Steph Curry. It is the NBA, so an All-Star is always useful on any team skills-wise, the coach just has to figure it out, but this does not look like an ideal fit by any stretch of the imagination.
