He's been quietly improving every season since his mishap with Nick Young, probably is going to make Magic look foolish for going with Lonzo over him when all is said and done...

Russell is definitely having the best season of his career, though I don't think he would have meshed well with Lebron, who is so ball dominant. Russell is a ball dominant, score-first point guard himself.

Idk I think Bron would have loved the kind of shooting, and the playmaking ability Russell brings, when he needed to take the pressure off or a break akin to the way he used Kyrie.

I think every Buckeye is happy to see Russell playing so well, but his time with that team was limited the moment he put that video out. Only someone of superstar status could have survived that to remain on the same time.

Agreed, but at the same time if the Lakers knew they would land Lebron I think they keep him. LeBron is big enough to say F it, the kid fucked up but he stays. Imagine replacing Lonzo Ball with Russell. But of course they couldn't have known that.

I mean it was Nick Young not a superstar, and he played a whole season after the fiasco, I believe it had all but blew over by the time he was traded. I think it was more like Magic just didn't believe in him
