Yeah, I've not seen/heard anything that would suggest that he's "gone" after this season. No way he would declare for the draft, he's obviously not ready both mentally and physically, so that only leaves transferring. I know transfers can come almost out of the blue, but I don't see that. The way he talked about the situation that happened against Sparty certainly didn't give me any kind of bad impression.

Pardon me for being frank, but just where in the hell do you think he's headed when you say he's gone?
Europe and I think he was gone before Matta got red-faced at him. I do not know but I do not think you would shoot 30 foot jump shots unless you are not going to be around next season. Also, I do not know why Ohio State would be recruiting Markell Johnson so hard if they were not be using a PG.

I was traveling Friday so I missed the debacle, but the article doesn't read like two guys with irreconcilable differences.

"As y'all can see, we're 30-something games in and it's the same old me. I wasn't ready to play this game. He chewed me out and I deserved every bit of it." - Lyle

"I don't want to make this about JaQuan Lyle, he didn't lose us the game or anything like that. But he's got a chance to be a heck of a basketball player, and it's my responsibility to get it out of him." - Thad

I don't think he's the answer so if he's gone, best of luck to him in his endeavors. If he stays, better be playing the 2 or it'll be another long year next year imo.

I've always liked the alternate pace we get when he's either at the shooting guard spot or out for Harris. Just seems like the team runs better as a whole. Might not have his scoring out there but it seemed like there were better opportunities with shots and penetration when he's not running point. If he stays and we still get Johnson to come in, I see him in the 2 position all the way.
