Jahmyr Gibbs (RB Detroit Lions)

The competition should be well above average there in Georgia. I like his vision and burst. Late bloomer I hope we get.
Georgia has great football, but like anywhere, there are pockets of average ball. He just runs away from people so much it just made me wonder.

as to those questioning why I would compare him with Le’Veon Bell, the reason isn’t his size or speed, but rather the way he uses his vision to see holes and seems patient. Once he sees a hole, he does explode through it though.

Dalton is a 6A school, which is the highest classification in Georgia. They play schools in the suburbs of Atlanta, such as Harrison, Justin Fields’ high school. So I highly doubt he’s doing this against bad competition. Maybe not Georgia’s absolute best, but it’s not bad at all.

When I first watched his film and before anyone started making comparisons to other backs, the first name that popped in my head was Noel Devine. Devine had arguably the greatest highlights in high school history, but I can see some of it in Gibbs’ game too.
I can see that. And that’s what’s so great about Gibbs, imo. Devine was 175 lbs in HS. Gibbs is pushing 200.

Love that comparison, Devine had the most unreal highlight film I've ever seen. I'm definitely on board with going all in on Gibbs, really think he's a top shelf talent.

Funny, before I wrote that he reminded me of McKnight, I thought of Devine. Both are electric in HS with the ball in their hands. Can score on almost any touch
