Any word on which position Ohio State is recruiting him at?

Based on his film, could play multiple positions for us as a WR, S, or CB. Film reminds me quite a bit of Jalin Marshall's HS film, as his HS used him primarily as a QB, and he looks as slippery and fast as Jalin was. Looks very comfortable with the ball in his hands

WR is what one of the writers for 11w stated

as posted above Mack recruited the heck out of Hardman

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Only a few weeks remain until National Signing Day, so of course five-star prospects are going to start popping up out of nowhere for Ohio State.

Take Mecole Hardman Jr. of Elberton (Ga.) Elbert County for example.

Though he hasn't been a prospect closely associated with Ohio state during the last six months, the 5-foot-10, 169-pound prospect announced Tuesday evening on his public Twitter account that he's officially visiting the Buckeyes this weekend.

Rated a five-star prospect and the No. 1 athlete in the 2016 recruiting class in the 247Sports composite rankings, Hardman became friendly with Ohio State receiver Austin Mack at the U.S. Army All-American Game.

If Urban lands this kid, it would take every unwritten "rule" of recruiting and flip it on its ear.

You always hear about "relationships" with coaches being built up over years being a big, if not the biggest, determining factor. Distance from home being another. Immediate playing time...etc.

Other than playing time, which I have no clue about, it would seem impossible to get him so late in the game without 2 years of building relationships and being from GA.

Crazy.
