Coach Beck has begun to recruit Emory & will make it down to Georgia to see him May 9th. Emory says tOSU is his dream school & believe he fits the Ohio State offense well. Plans on visiting tOSU in the summer.

Tennessee is the runaway favorite here & many expected him to commit during their spring game, but tOSU got in touch with him and he's decided to slow things down for the moment...

I think OSU definitely ends with one of Jones or Jurkovec. And probably before the fall. As such I would be inclined to just roll with Clark for '17 and pass on a 2nd QB in the class.

I really liked Jurkovec. I might like Jones better.

I stand with wad. Comparing tapes, I prefer Jones. More developed as a passer, and love seeing the accuracy/zip on the ball when he's rolling to his left. Want.

Personally, when I watch Jones' film, I see a lot of Kellen Mond. Now I know numbers are very tight in 2017, but do we take Mond in '17 as well as(hypothetically) Jones in 2018, even with similar skill sets and styles(ability to move the pocket and extend plays, strong arms, get large chunks of yards with their legs through the zone read game, and throw well on the run)?

I think that if he's serious about tOSU and he's looking at a summer decision, it would make a LOT of sense to slow play the rest of the non-committed QBs that we're chasing in the '17 class. No need for taking two this year if there's this kind of talent in '18 with this kind of interest.

Obviously, it's a long way to signing day...
