I think the perception of our 2014 QB recruiting is going to help us with he 2015 class. Collier may very well end up being better than Deshaun Watson, but I don't think he is a guy that the younger QBs have heard of that will scare them away.

For example, Nunez as a Georgia kid is probably well aware of Watson and all the hype surrounding him. He seems to have both OSU and Clemson in his top group of schools. I think that will give us a leg up in his recruitment.

The same thing seems to be happening with OL recruiting this year as kids see all the open starting spots in 2014 and the lack of blue chip recruits waiting in the wings and the opportunity is a little extra intriguing for a 5 star guy like Prince.

Clemson strong with junior Georgia quarterback
By Phil Kornblut

Lorenzo Nunez

Clemson has Georgia's top quarterback, and for that matter perhaps the nation's top senior quarterback, Deshaun Watson of Gainesville committed for the 2014 class. And the Tigers are in solid shape with one of Georgia's top quarterbacks for the 2015 class in Lorenzo Nunez (6-2 190) of Kennesaw. The Tigers have offered along with Ohio State, Tennessee, Kentucky, Boston College and Charlotte. He's also drawing strong interest from Florida State, Miami and Notre Dame. Nunez talked with Clemson recruiter Chad Morris on Thursday and is in touch with him once or twice a week. Nunez and his father took in the Tigers' season opener against Georgia. "It was spectacular," Del Nunez said. "The frenzy in the stadium was awesome. They way they played was at a whole different level." The pair plan a return trip to Clemson for later in the season as the Tigers are strongly on their mind. "We're very interested," the senior Nunez said. "They are at the top of our list. The top three are Clemson, Ohio State and Tennessee (in no order)." Florida State is showing major interest and would become a strong contender with an offer. Nunez visited Auburn for games last season and will also go to Ohio State, Vanderbilt, Tennessee, Florida State and possibly Miami for games this season. Nunez is primarily a passing quarterback with the ability to extend plays with his legs. Last season he accounted for 1700 yards and 15 touchdowns.
