Awful awful reffing... one redeeming factor was they didn't fawn over Manu's constant flopping.

I would like to see Larry Brown go elsewhere, and see what happens when a coach designs an offense where Sheed shoots two dozen 20 footers a game. He's money from there and is extremely hard to stop. They'd destroy SA if he did that more often.

Tim Duncan officially sucks in the clutch.
Is this the same Tim Duncan who just won his 3rd NBA Finals MVP award by averaging 23 points, 15 rebounds and 3 blocks a game against the best defense in the NBA? Must be pure hell to suck so badly - can you imagine if he was good?

Sure he had his struggles at the line, but he IS the Spurs inside game, meaning he had to take on the Wallaces virtually by himself, underneath. Sometimes, you have to give a little credit to the opposition. This is one of those times, and yet Duncan scored 17 of his 25 Game Seven points after halftime...that's not clutch?

He did have an unexpectedly good game 7. He is still a choker. I was saying it before everybody on espin decided to ask the lame ass question "is this the defining game of tim duncan's career?"

He sucked in the clutch in the over time game, and he sucked in the clutch in game 6. he played better in the 2nd half of game 7....but he was by no means clutch. he won the MVP because there really wasn't anybody else to give it to on the spurs.
