I really wish King Joffrey were one of Jerry's kids with the Second Mile.

Too soon?

I'm not sure if the books portray him as a whiney little self righteous prick or not, but if so I must say the actor is doing a damn good job of portraying the character correctly.

As to what Kyle said, I agree 100% in regards to the Starks. SIGN. ME. UP! Winter is coming!

The actor is doing a fairly good job. He's maybe a little over the top with some of the whiny behavior. But the petulant arrogance is spot on with the books.

So I got free HBO this weekend and started watching at episode 4 of the marathon. Didn't do anything yesterday as a result. I need to get the DVDs and watch the first three. Awesome show. LOL at the NYT review from last year that said this.

When the network ventures away from its instincts for real-world sociology, as it has with the vampire saga “True Blood,” things start to feel cheap, and we feel as though we have been placed in the hands of cheaters. “Game of Thrones” serves up a lot of confusion in the name of no larger or really relevant idea beyond sketchily fleshed-out notions that war is ugly, families are insidious and power is hot. If you are not averse to the Dungeons & Dragons aesthetic, the series might be worth the effort. If you are nearly anyone else, you will hunger for HBO to get back to the business of languages for which we already have a dictionary.

This show is pure gold.

The NY Times critic that wrote that is a pompous douche. Fuck them. Game of Thrones is, in my imo, (so far) on the same level as The Wire. Best show on TV right now.

Also, that critic must hate boobs.
