I've just watched the Episode 10 opening sequence for I think the fourth time. Fantastic and I love that they went straight to the wine-boarding scene before moving elsewhere. Shame, shame... Of course, I've always had a thing for wicked queens, Mary Poppins, the White Witch from TLTW&TW, etc.

'Game Of Thrones' season seven has been delayed

The air date for season seven of Game Of Thrones has been pushed back.

Typically, each new series of the HBO show has started in April, but that will not be the case with the penultimate series.

As Digital Spy reports, showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss have revealed that the new series won't begin until later in 2017.

"We don't have an air date yet, but this year will probably be a little bit later," they said on the UFC Unfiltered podcast.

"We're starting a bit later because at the end of this season, 'Winter is here' - and that means that sunny weather doesn't really serve our purposes any more.

"So we kind of pushed everything down the line, so we could get some grim grey weather even in the sunnier places that we shoot."

Season seven will only have seven episodes instead of the usual 10, while the showrunners have previously confirmed the series will finish after season eight.
