speaking of deals... I'm noticing a lack of any kinda deals on a ps4 for Black Friday with xbone being down as low as 320 or 330... I know Sony is kicking butt but refusal to lower the prices for Black Friday could turn the tide ....best deal I saw was ps4 with last of us and gta v for $399 ..I'm really tempted by the xbone assassins creed bundle for $330 on Black Friday

Sucks I was debating on my Xmas present but it looks like I've talked my work into getting me my first option.... I've got a 100 gift card from Amazon I've had since my birthday that I'm saving to buy a ps4 but damnit I want a good bundle

Unlike big box stores, Amazon will frequently release killer deals at the last minute (which also sell out crazy fast). So if I were you, I'd wait to make my final decision on that day. Sometimes the big box stores will mimic the online promos to not lose huge chunks of income (and foot traffic).

that's a reason why I like the Xbox being behind in sales...consumers win

took forever for xbox to slash prices last year

Wal-Mart got scammed into selling PS4 consoles for $90 (update)

Customers have used Wal-Mart's price-matching promotional in order to purchase $400 PlayStation 4 consoles for a fraction of the retail price using third-party sellers on Amazon.com, CNBC reports.

Earlier this month, the retailer announced it would begin a price-match promotion with select online retailers including Amazon; However, the website allows any Amazon user with a registered selling account to create authentic-looking sales pages.


As a result, a number of Wal-Mart customers have posted images to Twitter and Reddit showing receipts confirming Wal-Mart accepted fake Amazon listings.

"LMAO Amazon and Walmart jig just got ps4 for $97," reads a tweet from Twitter user Tahaa8, alongside an image of a receipt.

To me, now that PSN isn't free and I have to pay for online gaming anyways, it comes down to which console do the people I know have? I'm not a hardcore gamer either, NCAA (RIP), GTA, and an occasional game that looks entertaining and that's it.

as I tell many people who are on the fence, what are your friends playing, and what games do you enjoy?

What console has exclusives for games that interest you?

Is having your TV/Cable run through your gaming system important (or matter at all) to you?

Does hardware matter?

Answer those questions and you'll know

Bestbuy was recently running a promotion where you got +50% of trade in value, but I think that is store credit only.
