My God!! All of us who ever lived in NEO will always remember that one.
"Garfield-1-2323" was the telephone number of "Home Corporation" which was a Siding Company in Cleveland. They were one of the "usual suspects" dealing in Siding, Windows, Fences, etc. We'll not only always remember the jingle, but also the snarly-voice we all recited it with. It will always be a Classic.
Just wanted to edit this to clarify. The actual telephone number would be area code 216-421-2323, the "GA" (42) in Garfield followed by the 1-2323.
Wonder how many calls they'll get tomorrow? Get your "snarl" on guys!!!

I think I heard that jingle about 4523895 times during Indians games on the radio growing up. I always wondered what Garfield had to do with siding, though.

GA1-2323 is one of my favorite commercials. A total classic.
Mr. Allen's 29 or 2 fer fitty commercials are good only because of the little cartoon guy that pops up out of the corner of the screen. I like the City Blue radio commercials too.
How bout Empire Windows, where they tie a dummy to a ladder and make it look like Little John took a plunge? Loved that one.
