  • Consider registering! Fewer and higher quality ads, no emails you don't want, access to all the forums, download game torrents, private messages, polls, Sportsbook, etc. Even if you just want to lurk, there are a lot of good reasons to register!
We try to handle all moderation privately, for the sake of the targeted user(s) and primarily because it's none of your business (without the $77 subscription).

Since some seem hellbent on keeping this martyr crusade alive:

  • Gator broke a lot of rules and danced near the others
  • After years of gentle hints and much leeway didn't get the job done, a different approach was needed
  • The BP rules and expectations were made crystal clear (this coincided with the many month ban), and he understood and agreed to them
  • Gator was still given multiple chances after his hiatus, including short term departure(s)
  • In the end, Gator is who he is and couldn't change his stripes (scales?).
There are times where a visiting (or OSU) fan knows they'll be crossing the line or dancing near it.

  • Some bite their tongue, like woof, knapplc, methomps :sad2: rather than go too far (not to be confused with strong disagreements in other debates)
  • Others go off the deep end in a blaze of glory, whether they are newly registered trolls or long-time members
  • Gator tends to rephrase it and make the same statement with a more sugary coating.
In the end, in order to abide by the BP rules he was having to be something he's not, which ultimately did not work for him or us.

I thought I was getting a pass because I follow you on Twitter.

But seriously - thanks for the explanation. The curiosity sucks.

Giant mounted Tim Tebow gator can be yours for $10,000
Need a gift for for the Florida fan in your life who already has everything, but can't afford Urban Meyer's old house? How about a seven-foot mounted bull alligator wearing a Tim Tebow jersey and throwing a football signed by the Gators' three Heisman-winning quarterbacks?
If that sounds like just the thing, good news: precisely such an alligator is now available on eBay for the low, low price of $10,000.

Feel good story here:

One-handed Florida player Zach Hodskins fulfills 'dream,' makes debut

Florida guard Zach Hodskins is really good at basketball. Here's the catch: He only has one hand.

The walk-on freshman, who was born without the lower part of his left arm, made his college basketball debut Friday when the No. 7 Gators took on William & Mary. Hodskins played two minutes and missed his only shot of the contest, but his appearance was more than enough to make for an amazing story.

With the new software and setup, it would be cool if we could grant users permanent "read-only" access...that would drive Ubet absolutely bonkers not being able to respond.
