Going pro (Merged Multiple Threads)

You guys remember Adam Fletcher? He would be over on BNuts spouting off about the power of NC St.
:slappy:

That guy was classic. He was all about the smothering defense and blistering offense that the Wolfpack was going to unleash on the hapless Buckeyes. That team is a joke!!!
I remember Adam Felcher. He sucked ass.

As far as TA goes, with NCSU's sub-par passing attack he'd probably take a beating again next year. Running backs only get to take so many hits, they may as well get paid to take them...

I think it is a smart move. He's eligible to leave (three years). He also has a history of injuries. He needs to make some money before he's finished with football. Good luck to him, but I don't see him playing for more than four NFL seasons, his body just isn't dependable.

The T.A. McLendon I saw the last 2 years was only a shadow of what he displayed as a freshman. He was really special when he was healthy. Hope he can regain that early form. I have heard he is a fine young man who displays good leadership on and off the field.

12-15) 17:05 PST GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) --

Florida running back Ciatrick Fason announced Wednesday he plans to forgo his senior year and enter the NFL Draft.

The 6-foot, 215-pound junior has been one of the most consistent performers for the 20th-ranked Gators. He enters the Peach Bowl with 1,173 yards rushing and 10 touchdowns, just the seventh Florida running back to reach 1,000 yards in a season.

"The choice came down to a decision I had to make for my wife and our two children," Fason said. "I believe the program is in great shape and that Gator fans should be excited about the future. I intend to complete my education down the road." Fason leads the Southeastern Conference in rushing with 106.6 yards per game and is second in the league in all-purpose yards at 127.2 per game. <!-- END STORY -->
