Played a game before work today as OSU, with my opponent as OU. I was up 13-7 with about 10 seconds left, and he was on my 5. I faked a blitz, and dropped back into a full zone. Dustin Fox picked off a quick hit to the left wideout, and I returned it 101 yards for a TD with no time on the clock.

My record for an int return is 106 yards in an online game, but this one was close.

ETA: OK, had to add this one. I finished up the day playing as Cincinnati against a guy playing Michigan. He was taunting me the whole game over the mic, and I didn't say a word back. Up 10-7, he lost his connection in the 3rd (karma?), but I still gave up a TD. Took the ball down to the 5 and got stuffed on 4th with 12 seconds left.

Hart smacks into the line on 1st, I call timeout with 7 secs left. Next play, I call an all-out blitz, Henne either misses the handoff or tries a play action, and gets blasted by my LB. He fumbles into the endzone, I pick it up and I win 17-14. :)

Jeez, can anyone tutor me in NCAA 2005?

I can romp on all-american, but if I'm on Heisman and I dont have Troy Smith scrambling it out of the Hail Mary on every other play to bail me out of a third down, I lose pretty harsh.

I'm having trouble with running the ball and defending the pass ESPECIALLY.

Help me out, Gurus!

Back when I had my UCLA dynasty it was disgusting. Recruitingwise I could get 80+ % of the players I wanted. One Year I remember getting the top 5 LB's When I only needed 3 for the position. Everyone has probably experienced this though. I played on Heisman and had not lost more than 1-2 games a year so everyone wanted to go there.

I always exported my draft classes so I could use my players on NFL 2005. I had this monster DE named McClure that was unstoppable off the edge. One game I had 22 sacks with 16 in the second half. That was the best defensive game I have ever played in my life. Their tackle wasn't fast enough off the line to make a difference and they could not run a play to my side w/o losing yards.

But anyways this kid had 85 speed and he was 6'5" 270 lbs. I signed him with the #1 pick and he was a 94 overall as a Rookie!! This was a computer generated character that I had recruited.. not one I created - in case some were wondering.

I never bothered to pick up NCAA 2005, but my greatest 2004 feat was beating UM 84 - 0 with 5 minute quarters, where Gamble accounted for every single offensive and defensive touchdown. Gamble had 3 INT TD returns, 1 fumble return TD, 7 TD receptions, and 1 TD run. One of the INT returns occured in the closing seconds of the game -- Fox intercepted a pass which I then tried to lateral out of bounds since Fox was dangerously close to the goal line when he picked it, and I didn't want him to score. By dumb luck, Gamble was 5 yards behind Fox and caught the pitch to run it in as time expired.

One quick recruiting glitch. Always recruit Athletes that weigh about 230-250 lbs. Then turn them into DE's. They will be rated at 93-99 their Freshman year and dominate. I had one that rated 99 his Freshman year. Got him to stay 4 years. He had over 100 sacks in 4 simulated years. I never played with him, although I did play with a similar player and I could get over 10 sacks a game by blowing away the tackle.
