I don’t think he’s necessarily set up to succeed with Rutgers being in the Big Ten now. Much easier to get Rutgers to 8-10 wins in the dying Big East vs now. Still hope he can at least get them some respectability.

Also, Travis's pathetic brag is equally true if you say "By the way, Jeremy Pruitt just tied for the most SEC wins in 5 years at Tennessee." With all FIVE of these amazing conference wins: MSU, SC, KY, Mizzou, Vandy.

If we set expectations for 'respectability' vs contender.... he'll be fine

Like Ohio... NJ has a lot of coaches that have been there for years
Schiano still has those relationships.. Florida too

Will be interesting to see what assts he brings in...
He needs to keep the interim coach... he too has good NJ HS relationships

Schiano needs to get back up to speed in Florida where he had success years back
