Yeah, I'm a bit disappointed myself. While I feel GTA V is better than IV (Didn't care for the story or characters myself, I thought the whole thing was kind of a turd), that doesn't say much. The story seemed shorter than the previous games, even with side missions. That's probably as a result of the time spent in Online. Online was seriously fun for about a month, but they really started screwing with the missions, the replay feature, payouts, etc. They kept trying to slow down progress, and it had a negative effect as people just started cheating and trying to find more loopholes. If Rockstar would have spent more time trying to close the loopholes rather than restrict actual legitimate progress the game probably wouldn't have gotten so screwed up. At this point the game is just boring because theres so much money floating around, or everything's been purchased already, theres no reason to do races, missions, or anything that was actually fun.

Or your like me. I was tardy to the party for all the hacked money free for all. rockstar is making it such a grind for money now, you either spend your time doing repetitive shit, or looking for any loopholes. Glad I bought the cargobob online before they closed that glitch btw. might be my favorite vehicle . Tossing cars on others players camping the mod shop or houses is most satisfying

Theres a better use for the Cargobob. Carry a tank, or a buddy's tank to the top of the department store across from that mod shop. Nobody will bother trying to camp it, they stand no chance.

That's good that they brought it back!

I've been on a GTA V hiatus since my XBL subscription ran out/had some personal issues. Now that everything is clearing up I think I'll re-up my subscription.

The last thing I did on there was buy everything I could, since someone had gifted me $2 billion

Is anyone still playing this? The last update has provided nothing. This game is so boring these days. Hell, even killing people U. Texas style isn't fun anymore. It seems as the people playing this still just want to drive around in their new whip like it is a game of Sims.

I still play on Mondays with my buddies, but I've been bored of it for some time. Since Monday night is guy's night, and they can't seem to find anything else to do, we're still camping people "U. Texas style" till it's time to quit. I never cared for camping much myself, I always preferred the team work in missions, but they have no need for cash these days so for them theres no point in doing missions. They like to grab Cargobobs and drop tanks on top of the Rockford building across the street from the northern Pay N Spray, then destroy any people that try to use it. We keep traffic going in the area by putting bounties on each other. I usually sit on top of a different building with a Sniper rifle.

Haven't played in awhile.

I'm back to killing zombies on BLOPS & BLOPS2 and playing our NCAA14 online dynasty.

Yeah, it's no wonder they went out of their way to do crap like reducing mission payouts and cutting features like the replay mission ability, all the while there were game breaking bugs that needed fixing like disappearing cars and deleted characters. Since day 1 Rockstar has been more concerned about protecting their ability to squeeze as much out of this as they can. It wasn't enough that it was one of the most successful games of all time, it just feels a bit greedy if you ask me. The single player was a good experience, but if you ask me they put more work into previous games in the franchise. Of course, the previous games didn't have a robust online feature like this, but at best the online was only fun for a month or two before Rockstar killed it.
